Our stay at the Salty Unicorn was fantastic. Besides the great views from all sides and the house being across the street from the beach, no detail escaped their notice. Not only was the house beautifully decorated and the furniture comfortable and cozy, but we kept on finding more things to enjoy doing as a family during downtimes like the retro video games, board games, foosball, a telescope, bikes and then some. If you like to cook, the kitchen has everything you'd needed and bonuses like an air flyer and things of that nature. I look forward to my next visit!

Beautifully and comfortably furnished house, fully equipped with everything one could want or need. The 2 front and 2 back porches offer great views and relaxation. The owners didn't hold back on amenities to make this an excellent beach vacation home. Prime location: cross the street and one's at the beach. Highly recommend!

The bunk room ac was terrible. It was so hot up there no one could sleep up there. Other than that everything was wonderful. Beautiful house that had everything we needed. Very short walk to the beach. The boys enjoyed the corn hole!

This is an absolutely gorgeous house and we loved our stay! The view from the kitchen and family room was so much better than I expected, and the walk to the beach was way quicker than I thought it would be too. The furniture was also so comfortable and there was plenty of room for all of us to be there. As somebody else mentioned, the top floor with the bunkbeds was pretty warm the whole time we were there, but it was OK for kids to sleep in and it was nice to have that space and another bathroom. The one thing I would mention for somebody planning a trip is there is no grill at the property- not a detriment, just something that I was surprised about when I got there so I wanted to help others to plan!

Fantastic Beach Home!
If you are looking for a beautiful beach house in the heart of Surf City, look no farther than the Salty Unicorn. This home is close to the beach as well as rester-aunts/things to do. This home exceeded our expectations! The furniture was super comfortable (living room, bedrooms). We slept so well, all of the beds were extremely comfortable and all had nice quality bedding. The kitchen was stocked with everything plus more than you would need. We loved how all of the beds had linens on them when we arrived and the bathrooms were stocked with a ton of towels/handtowels/washcloths/soaps. The outdoor deck furniture was super comfortable. The home also had nice tvs in every room and they were thoughtful to include games, puzzles, books, and outdoor beach games and supplies! We could not recommend this home more! We can’t wait to keep coming back.

Fantastic house!
This house was gorgeous and spacious, plenty of room for everyone! It was beautifully decorated and the furniture was all so comfortable. As someone else mentioned, the top floor with the bunk beds was very warm but it was not unable to be used, it was just better for the kids to sleep in as they are more tolerant! The walk to the beach was SO close and so easy, that was a pleasant surprise. The one thing to note is there is no grill at this house- not a bad thing, just noting for others to be aware as we were surprised when we arrived to see that. But all in all this house was wonderful and we would love to go back!!

Great location and views.
Easy beach access and nice ocean views at this home stand out. It was beautifully and comfortably furnished. The fourth floor bunk room stayed too warm use, so keep that in mind if booking for a large group.
