Description

Escape to the Island into a home with outstanding features! This beach home is ready for summer fun. Each bedroom has a private bath, cable TV/VCR, and an oceanfront view. Two main suites have large Jacuzzi tubs for endless relaxation. The third-floor main suite has two private decks. Watch the kids playing and people go by on the beach as you relax in the large hot tub located on the lower deck. Cool down by taking a dip in the Hampton Colony pool or catching a wave in the Atlantic. The great room has three comfortable sofas, a large TV, DVD, and a CD player with a stereo system. The sparkling open kitchen is complete with modern, stainless steel appliances that include a double-door fridge, stove, oven, microwave, two dishwashers, ice maker, and a mini-fridge. This space is perfect for entertainment - the chef will be delighted to have a crowd while cooking. COMPLEX AMENITIES -Outdoor pool THINGS TO KNOW The community pool will be open from May 1 until October 1.

This is a great house for a large family or multi family on vacation together. Lots of open space in main area, and floor plan allows everyone space. It was perfect for our annual family vacation.

The house is spacious and comfortable. Great layout. The kitchen has 2 full sinks and dishwashers which was awesome! Big refrigerator and a wine fridge. Most of the utensils and kitchen ware we needed but no large bowl for hot food. Nice big table but the glass on top was cracked and taped only at the edges. The deck couldn’t have been better! Wonderful captains chairs and tables to sit with coffee every morning and cocktails every evening. The biggest misses were no pot holders or kitchen towels provided. The trash can had no lid and the recycling bin had no inner can so there was no way it could hold a trash bag. We used a pizza box as a trash can lid which was inadequate. We like to keep our vacation homes well cleaned, but there was little to clean with. The broom was the old straw kind that left broken straws on the floor and the vacuum did a very poor job. No mop, cleaning products or cloths to keep windows and table tops clean. Nothing to clean bathrooms. Our biggest disappointment was finding there was not one beach item: no chairs, buckets or shovels. No grill either. We totally understand that owners do not need to provide these, but knowing ahead of time would have been helpful. Traveling a long way with full cars means choices. We could have brought chairs instead of golf clubs, made prior arrangements to rent, etc. Realty agents and owners should provide full information. We have never rented a house that provided nothing in the 40 years we have been to Oak Island Topsail. It was a shock. We bought the chairs and gave what we couldn’t carry to neighboring houses.

We really enjoyed our stay at Summer Fun - the open kitchen/living room area was perfect for our large group. We loved how each bedroom has an ocean view and access to a deck. Would love to come back in the future!

We loved the views. House was very spacious. Cleaning was poor and house needed much maintenance. Older and Outdated in many areas

We loved the house and thank you for sharing it with us!! The beds slept great! We would recommend maybe check the water heaters fir an upgrade. I would have loved to use the jetted tubs but there was not enough hot water to even get up over the jets. Over all we loved Summer Fun❤️
