We had a great time and really enjoyed ourselves with the family; it was very convenient to be right on the beach when you have small children.

This may have been one of my favorite houses to stay in. Not only were we able to have our dogs with us, but the house was recently updated from what you see in the pictures and beautifully done. I will call out that there is no picnic table out back and the coffee machine is not a drip, but a keurig which was fine too, just wanted to call that out for others looking to plan for their trip. We had a couple of hiccups but Carolina Coast Retreats was quick to remedy them (Fire Alarm and Dishwasher issue). Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

The walk to the beach from the deck made our beach experience so much more enjoyable, especially with a preschooler. We could leave our stuff on the beach and go inside for lunch, etc. The flexibility for the number of people and types of rooms was great. We didn't need all the space, but it worked out really well. We were also surprised by how cool the house was considering how warm it was outside.

We could leave our stuff on the beach and go inside for lunch, etc. The flexibility for the number of people and types of rooms was great. We didn't need all the space, but it worked out really well. This house is a nice house to stay in. It was clean. No bugs. It's adequately stocked. It isn't stocked like your own home is but that's to be expected. Really nice appliances. Location is perfect. You literally walk down some steps and you're on the beach which has beautiful sunrises! (my favorite). I would love to stay here again. Wonderful vacation.

This has to be one of the best vacation homes we have rented, right on the beach and the location on the island was just perfect. The beach is literally at the bottom of the steps. Vacasa provided us with the necessary entrance code way in advance and the house was so clean when we arrived. I can't wait to book for next year!

The location is centrally located to Sneads Ferry and Surf City. 5 easy steps to the beach made it easy for our 9 year old dog.

The house was so wonderfully situated on the beach. The only problem we encountered was the sliding glass door was very hard to use. We cleaned it out and oiled it and then it worked fine. The listing said there were no deck chairs, but there were chairs. The rental came with towels and sheets, and toiletries, kitchen set up, and toilet paper. Was a very nice perk. There is a crock pot there too. We all enjoyed it very much. It was very nice yo have a bedroom with lovely bathroom on the first floor, as stairs are not always the best.

Wonderful vacation for our 13 member family

Easiest access to the beach we have ever experienced. We have had oceanfront homes on many different beaches. VACASA addressed a couple reported issues very quickly.

Beach trip tradition to topsail

We have never been to Topsail before. It was wonderful! Walking down the steps and being on the beach was the best. Scene was spectacular with gorgeous views. We really enjoyed our stay. There was just a few cosmetical issues, but nothing huge. Shower curtain fell while in the shower, no outside light above the door (think a bulb blew), dish towels were gross, no table to set drinks on while watching TV, and downstairs shower floor sounded like you were going to fall through. Beautiful view, great location! Being a short drive to almost everything was very convenient. I would definitely recommend. We would also stay there again.

So close to the water! Lots of room. Doesn’t have a grill or deck & beach furniture/equipment. It is pet friendly so expect a little pup hair and smell but overall we were very pleased with our stay.
