Stayed here for two weeks on a work trip. Location was great! Check-in was easy, host was communicative, and I didn't find the weekend noise to be a problem, as the bedroom is located in the back of the unit. The kitchen was well stocked and there was dishwasher soap and laundry detergent available.
My only notes: would have liked salt and pepper available in the kitchen and the only decently sized frying pan was rounded on the bottom so it didn't sit flat on the cooktop. For a longer stay, the mattress could have benefited from a topper but I don't think it would be a problem if you're only staying a night or two.
Overall was very pleased with my stay!Gracie -
Great place. Exactly what I was looking for.Luke -
Beautiful view and lovely getaway for an anniversary weekend. Lots of places around to ship, eat, and just enjoy yourselves.Joseph W. -
Great location and a walk away from great restaurants and pubs. River walk is right in front of the property and all lit up for the holidays!Carolyn -
This is the perfect location for downtown Wilmington. We were there for the IM 70.3, and the balcony overlooked the finish line area. It was just a few blocks to the convention center, IM village and store. We ate at several local restaurants and walked along the riverfront area several times. There were quite a few shops nearby, and a DG in the building next door (very handy). The battleship North Carolina is directly across the river. Wrightsville Beach was about a 20-minute drive, and we spent a few hours there (parking at the beach was $$).Kelly -

This property is comfortable and clean. I always enjoy my vacations in Wilmington. Having a cozy site like this just adds icing to the cake.Jonathan M. -
Great location. Great view. Bring your own Keurig coffee pods. DG store is close for anything you need. Don’t stay parked in the unloading zone for more than 15 minutes or you’ll be ticketed.Anonymous -
My family stayed here and it worked out really well. It was easy to get to and a perfect location for us. We enjoyed the view from the balcony and loved walking out the door to easy and fun activities in downtown. Parking isn't directly onsite but it was easy to access as well. There was a bit of street noise from Water St. but it didn't impact us from a sleeping standpoint so it was fine! Recommend!Anonymous -
Walking distance to everything. Came with parking pass which is of the utmost importance in downtown Wilmington. Awesome view of the battleship. Clean, great balcony, firm bed which I prefer. Awesome stay!Anonymous -
Will stay again . Clean . Walking distance to whatever you may need.Anonymous -
This unit was very clean and well stocked. The location was perfect to explore downtown Wilmington and also has easy access to other locations if you have a car. Parking is included in a garage a few blocks away. I utilized an open space in the condo lot to load/unload, and then moved my car to the parking garage.Anonymous -
My husband and I stayed at river view condos before and this place was the best yet . All the little details that made it feel like home . Very clean and great location.Karen L. -

An absolutely wonderful location for enjoying everything historic Wilmington has to offer. Walking distance for so many restaurants, shops, and attractions. Parking one block away but easy to access to get in and out by car as needed. When loading or unloading there was space in the actual building lot to do so. Tag containing electronic access to parking garage was available in apartment when unloading. Only slight downside was the noise of River Street on weekends for those sleeping on the pullout couch in the living room. We did not hear any of that from the bedroom. But then again, being right on the river where all the fun is happening is why you would stay here!Joan L. -
The place was great, the perfect location to just relax, rewind, and get some time to enjoy. The local shops, sites and restaurants is perfect, and the view is the icing on the cake.Jody Y. -

We have stayed in one of the condos many times over the past few years. This unit had a comfortable bed, nice kitchen and a wide enough couch for napping. We love the area because once you park you can walk to just about everything.Kelli H. -
Such a great place to stay! Clean, cute and close to everything.Mandy M. -
Such a nice place with a nice view and so close to everything. This was the easiest place to book and the price was very affordable. Thanks for sharing your home. We hope to come back!Anonymous -

This location was perfect! There were so many places to eat nearby. We could walk downtown and it saved us from having to pay for parking. We enjoyed walking along the river in the evenings. I was worried about our view but it was good! The covered spot in the parking garage was nice especially during our stay as there was a lot of rain and uncertainty with the weather. I really loved the little condo. It was spacious and absolutely perfect for a getaway for two. There are some minor things that I left in the review to change. Overall, it was great and we would stay again.Braden H. -

We will definitely be returning. Extra Clean and cozy spot with a great balcony and view of the river. Great location and convenience to restaurants and shopping. About a block away from parking but fortunately we didn't need to drive that much.Anonymous -
First time staying here and we enjoyed this place sooo much! Will be staying againBillie G. -
You can’t beat the location of this rental. I loved having a balcony with water views. The sunsets were lovely in the evening as well. I didn’t have any issues checking in or with the parking fob. Yes, it’s a downside that you have to park a block away, but it’s only a 6 minute walk away. Plus there’s a 15 min parking spot for loading/unloading in front of the condo. (Although I was thinking it would really suck to park a block away if it was raining!) The street below the balcony/apmt is a busy area-lots of people out & I could see it being potentially loud on the weekends bc of the bars/restaurants nearby. But you really can’t beat this location, proximity to so many things, & the views of the water & battleship. I would definitely stay here again!Emmy H. -

Loved the view and location of the unit. I was down for a softball tournament and didn’t get to explore much but what we could see looking at google maps was that there was lots to do within walking distance. Would definitely rebook on a return visit.Karen J. -

everything was great and we had an awesome location!christian a. -
Property was just as advertised! Clean, well supplied, beautiful view of the USS N Carolina Battleship. Walking distance to everything you could want to see. 4 days-not enough time to see it all. Good neighborhood, elevator for unloading/loading stuff. Parking pass supplied, only thing that would make it better would be on site parking. Parking garage was a block away but that was not really a problem--more of an inconvenience is all. Totally would go back again and recommend to anyone who would want to see the sights of downtown/historic Wilmington.Ann B. -

The location was excellent-within walking distance to everything-food, music, coffee shops, boardwalk, catholic church (basilica). Beautiful view of the Cape River-right across from the USS North Carolina Battleship. Which you must see if you're in town. I loved the room decor, the balcony was lovely. Parking was free, however it was a block away, so a bit inconvenient but I can live with that. Bed was comfortable. Home was very clean. Fridge had a sign saying enjoy the water bottles however none were there. Maybe just an oversight. When I could not connect to wifi-I reached out and had a response with troubleshooting help immediately. I really loved this place & when I come back I will definitely come back. We had our daughter and a few of her friends visit and they also were impressed. All of them have parents/friends from out of state and I am sure they will recommend this place to their family/friends.Anonymous -
Property was clean, perfect size and great location!Denise C. -
The place was spotlessly clean, complete with obviously fresh towels and linens, windows and even the inside of the fridge. It has everything youll need for your stay including kitchen equipment for just about anything, easy access to entertainment (wifi, tv, etc...) The view is awesome looking directly out at the river and the location is perfect with immediate access to the river walk and all things Downtown right out the front door. A great place to stay!Anonymous -

This condo, though somewhat spartan, was very clean and in an EXCELLENT location. However, the electronic pass issued for the included parking garage (a block away) was a major fail. On my first attempt to enter (the garage) after a long day of travel, it did not work. A kind condo neighbor happened to see me "stuck" at the gate and kindly used her pass to let me in the garage. The next day, I could not exit the garage. my car was stuck in the garage for two days! HOWEVER, the local Vacasa customer service rep, Carolyn (sp?), went out of her way to resolve the problem and personally delivered a new parking pass at the end of the second day. Kudos for Carolyn...5-stars for her excellent customer service!Anonymous -
Everything was great and as described. Perfect location.Susan S. -
Loved our view of Cape Fear River, the NC Battleship and the Riverwalk.. It was quiet, convenient to downtown with walking distance to dining and shops.Mary C. -
👌👌👌 great location, the view, you can't beat! Condo was super clean and check in / check out was easy-peasy!Anonymous -
Can't say enough good things about our stay! Clean, convenient to so many restaurants, etc. Cannot beat the view! Will definitely stay here again!Susi H. -
Unit was perfect. Spotlessly clean, good bedroom kitchen and bathroom, and a balcony to sit outside overlooking the Cape fear river. Would definitely book again.Anonymous -
The condo was clean and conveniently located right downtown. Able to walk to everything.Kaci T. -
Great location, easy to access. The condo was very clean, except for one item. Communicated the deficiency with Vacasa, but no effort was made to correct, owner did not contact us. I still rated it mostly with 5 stars and we had a great time there.Karnel M. -
We are pleased to hear you enjoyed your visit! Thank you so much for taking the time to share your valuable feedback with us. We apologize for any issues you experienced in communicating with a member of our team, as well as any personal touch you found lacking. We passed your comments along to our local manager to review and we appreciate guests’ preferences as a means to continually improve. We look forward to hosting your next stay!Carolina Coast Retreats staff
We loved the location of this unit, it sits right on the Riverwalk straight across from the Navy Ship Museum. Most of the construction is done in this area, so its very quiet and nice. It is in walking distance to all of downtown Wilmington, which is AMAZING! The parking garage for your free parking spot is only a few minutes walk around the block. We pulled into the parking lot of our unit to unload and then parked the car and did the same in reverse when it was time to leave. The unit is cute, the furniture is comfortable, and the washer and dryer are brand new. There is an adorable balcony with 2 small tables and chairs. There is a toaster, a toaster oven (which came in handy for preheating pizza!) and dishes, cups in sets of four. I would have liked to have 'real' plates and bowls that could be microwaved as the ones provided are plastic. We made do, but that would be really nice for the owners to upgrade in that area. You are provided with soap, sponges, paper towels, a few rolls of TP, etc. so you don't really need to shop for the essentials when you arrive. We did have an issue upon arriving with a VERY strong smell of cleaning chemicals and residue on the floor. However, the management company had someone come out the very next morning (on Thanksgiving) and re-clean the floors several times with JUST hot water...and THEN the place was perfect! I was told by the housekeeper that if you are bothered by strong smells, etc to mention for them to just clean the floors with hot water and disinfectant, but not to use smelly cleaning soaps. I will remember this and be sure to request as to not have this problem in the future. That was THE only issue, and as, mentioned, my concern was taken seriously and immediately addressed. Don't let this prevent you from renting, just express concern in this area in advance and I'm sure they will make it perfect for you! We would definitely rent this unit again. It was lovely.Tammie N. -
Tammie, we are grateful for your review and are happy you enjoyed your time in our home. We always strive to provide our guests with an excellent vacation, and we are glad you experience it. We, however, apologize for the strong smell of cleaning chemicals and for allowing us to rectify it. Rest assured, we will take note of this and follow up with the appropriate parties to avoid the reoccurrence. We also highly appreciate our guests' preference for a room to improve, and we informed our property manager about your comment on the real plates and bowls for the microwave for consideration. We are excited to host you again in the future.Carolina Coast Retreats staff

Loved everything about the rental! Really enjoyed being on the river, at an affordable rate. Ill be honest, I had friends at the Ballast Hotel, and I truly believe the Water Street Condo was better in a lot of ways...more space, full kitchen, washer dryers, living space, ect. It was perfect. The only things I would suggest are, less decaf K-cups (thank you so much for the coffee though) and a slightly later checkout time. I understand that's fairly normal, but on a Sunday morning after a late Saturday night, even an 11AM checkout would be so helpful. Thanks again having this rental available. I will certainly consider coming back if I visit Wilmington again.Jay B. -
