The exterminator and laundry rental people came while we were there which was kind of frustrating as we didn’t want to deal with anything while on vacation.

Your own private beach, tons of water toys & bikes, fenced in area for the dogs, plenty of space for our 2 families...what more can you want. A 2 minute walk to the ocean and amazing views/sunsets from the decks and dock. We will be back!!!

Had the most amazing stay! Fenced in area for our dogs was perfect and they loved to play at the beach right behind the house. A quick 2 minute walk to the beach, perfect location for boaters or people that want to fish from the brand-new dock. The sunsets from the back porch are AMAZING! Lots of bikes, kayaks and paddleboards supplied by the owners for no additional charge. We can't wait to come back next summer!

We love this house. It has everything that is needed for a beach vacation the owners have supplied paddle boards, kayaks, bikes, and beach chairs. The house is wonderful and the location is even better

Best place in Topsail!! We had such a nice stay at Washed Ashore! Super dog friendly - our dogs loved being in the fenced in area downstairs and even played in the shore just outside the gate. It’s a great location with a beautiful sunset views. The inside was very clean and modern style. Lots of seating in the kitchen and living room areas - open concept. Will stay there again!

This property is well-maintained, offers great views of the intercostal waterway, and has wonderful family-friendly amenities. Bikes, games, fishing equipment, kayaks, and SUP’s. Would highly recommend!

One of our priorities when booking Washed Ashore was staying sound side. With an elderly golden retriever we needed the calmer water so she could swim every day and we still wanted to be waterfront. Washed Ashore was lovely. The property was clean inside and out and had so many different decks both on the front and the back of the home with different seating arrangements. The kitchen had all the items we needed to make meals. Plus a great grill made burgers and hot dogs a breeze. The real cherry on top was access to the bicycles which we took all over the island. Can’t wait to come back to Washed Ashore again. We loved it and so did our pup!

We could not have loved Washed Ashore more! We had an absolute blast, and it's impossible to be bored here! We brought the boat, and a typical day was fishing in the morning, taking the dog to sandbars in the afternoon, playing on our private beach at low tide, and strolling on the oceanfront - ALL just steps away! The house is well cared for and homey, and perfect for our furbaby with the fenced yard - and she LOVED that beach at low tide. We've already booked for next year - can't wait!

We had a lot of fun and relaxation during our stay at washed ashore. There were so many amenities included which was amazing. The boogie boards need replacing, or bring your own with you. But, you will love this special spot on South Topsail, it's amazing. So much fun on the channel, and the beach is just a few minute walk away.

The best sunset views and location! “Washed Ashore” sure had it all! From the private beach at low tide, to the kayaks, paddle boards, bikes, and countless other amenities, everything was right at our disposal! We were able to bring our boat and keep it at the private dock. Our children loved being able to fish, swim and launch kayaks at their convenience during our stay. The home was beautiful and so clean. We had plenty of space and a fully stocked kitchen. We felt right at home. We enjoyed sitting on the beautiful deck for countless hours and using the outdoor shower. Such a relaxing place. You can tell the owners love their home and we will definitely be visiting again!

I loved this house. We had not rented in a while(years) so we did not have high expectations. The kitchen had everything we needed except for a salad bowl! Even a cappucino machine. Pots and pans were non stick All Clad- important for the cooks. A large comfortable common area allowed us to be together easily. But the real attractions were all the toys and the location on the sound. We only went to the ocean one day because swimming and kayaking in the sound was so much fun! There’s a sandbar that you can set chairs on at low tide and it also prevents big boats from coming too close to the house. Saw lots of dolphins there! I would definitely stay here again.

This was our second year coming to Washed Ashore, this house is fabulous. Our daughter and her family enjoyed riding the bikes and using the kayaks. You want for nothing here. Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful home with us. See you next year.

Loved this house! The owners have gone so far above and beyond! Everything you could ever want or need on vacation. Our boxer mix was so happy with the fenced area. So were we. We went out on the kayak, and just enjoyed the beautiful view! We have found our vacation house and will return every year! Thank you so much for sharing your home with us!

The house was beautiful, clean, and in a wonderful location on the sound very close to the ocean. Neighbors were polite and the area was quiet and peaceful. The house has everything amenity wise that a family will need to have fun and enjoy themselves. We 100% recommend this vacation rental and we will be back for sure!

after much searching, we booked Washed Ashore for our family get away. What a great choice, we love the south end of the island. the house was very nice and clean, well stocked with everything we needed. the dock was used every day, we enjoyed the sunsets and we loved being able to dock the boat and have it conveniently ready. the fenced in area was well enjoyed by our dogs, they had a blast also. we enjoyed a bike ride to the Quarter Moon for morning coffee as well. We definitely will be back again.

Washed Ashore is in a great part of Topsail, on the sound with lots of side streets for riding bikes & walking. The deck has a wonderful view of the sound & the beach access is a short distance away. My dog loved the fenced yard. So did I! Lots of beach toys to keep everyone busy & happy. Washed Ashore has it all!

Loved the location right on the sound, the layout of the home, the comfortable couches and beds, beautiful kitchen with everything you could possibly need, the bikes, the kayak, the paddle boards… a perfect beach house!

We loved this property! This house is better stocked than any place we've ever stayed. The kitchen has every appliance you might ever want and every accessory for entertaining, every kitchen gadget one might ever need from ladles to pizza cutters to multiple cooking utensils to grapefruit knives to Baby/children's utensils. There is a coffee maker and an espresso maker. A blender, a Cuisinart, a toaster oven and a toaster, the list continues. The property has a kayak and paddle boards and bicycles and fishing poles and life preservers, children swings a hammock, lots of games - we were just blown away by how thoughtfully it had been furnished for guests to enjoy themselves. The sunsets were gorgeous, the pier was beautiful, it was a very short walk to the ramp onto the beach. The beds were comfortable. The house is spacious, it has a fenced under area for dogs to explore with multiple gate closures at various points limiting access to the water, the pier and the stairs, if you have little ones - it was just amazing. We would come back in a heartbeat.

This home is the complete package. Our family had an amazing time with the best sunset views on the Island. The living room, kitchen and dining room was large enough for all of us to be together and the rear deck overlooking the water was very comfortable. The fenced in yard and landscaping really made the difference with the kids and dogs. Would recommend this house to anyone staying on the Island.

Wonderful cottage with incredible views, ample outdoor seating on multiple decks overlooking the sound. Very dog friendly with a fenced yard. Short walk or bike ride to the beach access. Our family will definitely stay at Washed Ashore again!

Our family had such a wonderful time at our recent stay. The house is in an amazing location right on the water with some of the most stunning sunset views I have ever seen. It is kept incredibly clean and well stocked with everything we could need or want. Our dog loved running around on the beach and the fenced in backyard, watching the dolphins from the top balcony and taking some snoozes in sunspots on the main porch. An absolute must stay and we can’t wait to get back.

Very nice layout and good amenities. Dog friendly to the extreme as the entire lower level is fenced, including the dock. Location is perfect for boating, within 0.5 mile of ramp and 1 mile of New Topsail inlet. Loved it.

We LOVED this house! Sunsets were amazing and the location was perfect - so quiet an peaceful. Right on the sound and just a couple minute walk to the beach. But having our own private beach right out back was the best! We docked out boat out back and loved using the bikes, paddle boards and kayak that was provided. The rest of the house was stocked with everything we could need and the rooms/furniture was so cozy and comfortable. The kids loved being able to watch their own movies in their room on Netflix. They were also kept occupied by all the games that were provided in the outside closet like cornhole, ladder toss and bocce ball. We can't wait to come back next year!

We spent a week here with another couple, friends since we were in kindergarten and now we are in our 60's! We loved the back porches overlooking the sound, the well equipped kitchen, the comfortable beds and sofas. We so appreciate being able to take our 3 dogs, little westies, who loved the easy walk to the beach, and having the sound to enjoy along with us. The house was very clean, the beds comfortable, and the location perfect. We saw dolphins playing in the sound, as well as many folks on kayaks, in their boats fishing, and the rhythm of the tide going in and out. We look forward to returning to this lovely house and location next year.

Our 3rd consecutive year at Washed Ashore. You cannot beat this location on the south end. We love to fish off the dock and chat with the neighbors. New owners have made some really nice upgrades to the home since our last visit. Having the manual operated water toys and bicycles available is definitely a bonus! We will be back!

Our first trip to Topsail was one for the books. Washed Ashore is in the perfect location! We enjoyed watching the sunset each evening , fishing off the peer and walking to the beach. The house is very spacious and the kitchen is stocked with everything you could possibly need with everything labeled which makes it easy to find things.

This house is absolutely amazing. Breathtaking views from every angle, waterway access out the back door and a very short walk to the public beach access. Modern updates inside but maintains the “beachy” feel. The hosts have thought of everything- bikes, beach equipment, even different sized life jackets for use with the kayak and paddle boards. We visited with two small children and they had a blast, we never even had to leave the house there was so much to do. Would highly recommend Washed Ashore and hope to stay again soon!

The view from this beach home is spectacular-and not only does the home provide an excellent view but by providing amenities like bikes, kayaks, fishing poles, and beach accessories makes it a perfect place to stay. My family have visited Topsail for close to 20 years however never in the winter, I can't believe how much fun we had. This house was so beautiful and the inlet was amazing each night to sit out in the morning and watch the dolphin go by and then in the evenings with the breathtaking sunsets. Will be back!

We enjoyed our week at Carolina Haven. With a deck on the ocean & sunrise facing side of the house & a deck on the other side with an outstanding view of the sound, we could stay outside & enjoy the sights & weather even on the chilly & windy days. Everything was clean & as described in the listing. We rented a kayak on our final day from Topsail Surf & Cycle which was a perfect way to end a lovely week at our favorite beach!
