This second-row beach home is located on the South end of Topsail Island you will be minutes from shopping, dining, and fishing. Whaley has many surprising extras you will discover from the first moment you arrive. This comfortable and spacious home has a high-sloped ceiling, an eat-in kitchen, and lots of deck space. There is a light and airy feel thanks to the numerous windows and lofty touches. The large gravel drive leads you underneath the redwood deck to a car parking area, a wet weather entrance, and outdoor shower. The wet weather entrance offers a laundry room equipped with a full-sized washer/dryer for your convenience. Through the wet weather entrance, you will follow the stairs to the first level. The sun-drenched space on the first level invites you to come in and relax. The living area offers plenty of seating and a lovely desk offers a great space for the student or writer in your family. Also for your enjoyment are two sets of sliding glass doors that lead to the huge oceanside deck, equipped with a grill. Walk around to the spacious eat-in kitchen. You will find the kitchen bright and clean with all the necessary items like the refrigerator, stove, and microwave. A set of sliding glass doors invite you to the deck and provide ocean views for the cook. The first bedroom on this level has sound views and plenty of room to relax. This is the only bedroom on this level, so the guest choosing this room will enjoy the privacy of the spacious full bath on this level as well as easy access to the kitchen for a late-night snack. The overlook on the second level creates an airy loft feel and the nicely sized windows flood the space with daylight. There are two generously sized bedrooms and one bathroom on this level. The second bedroom allows you to settle down and take in the sound views offered by a large window. The third bedroom offers a private oceanside balcony with great views of the Atlantic Ocean. The house had a cool beach vibe plenty of room for the family kitchen was well equipped for meal prep . Met the cleaning person when we arrived she was just finishing up as we arrived but ran out for a battery for a smoke alarm she was very friendly and did a great job cleaning. There are small details that may bother some but nothing that affects your stay

The house was great. WiFi was good not issues with multiple connections. Porches brand new. Then only thing lacking was that the furniture is dated a bit but it’s a beach house. The location is awesome if you want a quiet spot close to the beach.

The location was great, the house was clean and most importantly (for us) our pup was allowed! We could see where parts of the house are not “updated” enough for some people, but we don’t mind that at all. It was a comfortable stay. The only two things we would recommend is adding a fenced in area and adding a gate to the deck for dogs. Those are two bonuses for families like us that take their pup everywhere, but we still had a great time! We will also give a heads up that the charcoal grill pictured was not there and the gas grill was not in the best shape. We grill a lot, so we just ended up getting a small propane grill. No big deal. We would stay at Whaley again!

Great location for a quiet family vacation. If you want to sit on the deck without a lot of traffic. The house could use some updating and paint, but are you going for the house or the beach? Public access was across the street and a short walk. No need to drive! Enjoyed our time.

Perfect location for a quiet family beach getaway with your fur baby! Quaint but clean and good outside deck spaces. Slightly dated furniture but the beds were comfortable and we were there for the beach so didn't bother us at all.

House was in a great location. Just a 4 minute walk to the beach. The house was stocked with dishes and pots and pans which was very helpful. Our only issue was the internet was out for the first couple of days and only one hard to use TV in the living room

We have stayed here three times and like the roomy living area with space for family games and jigsaw puzzles. I ran view is lovely and it is close to beach access #14. Very clean, with typical kitchen stuff ( only one wineglass, though!) and bath, kitchen and laundry soap provided, as well as some paper supplies. We may well be back for a fourth stay!
