SC2404 Armstrong

Wonderful stay on the beach. Sat on the deck and watched dolphins play! Would definitely rent this house again. Clean and comfortable with a magical view!

Location was what we wanted and it was perfect. The only negative was the internet and TV were unusable. We called the realty folks and they said it's normal anywhere on the island, however, we found Starbucks and other commercial users had fast and reliable connections. Not a deal breaker, but we had brought our Roku device and were looking forward to using it. Otherwise, nice stay and loved having a selection of books available.

Very comfortable home. You can’t get a better view. We saw dolphins every day. Excellent book selection. Very clean and roomy outdoor shower. Spacious kitchen.

Immediate access to the beach with no need to haul all your stuff in one go. This property makes sunrise walks on the beach easy. The decks are where you will spend all of your time, though the couches also provide a comfy view. There are gates on all levels, which made traveling with two dogs comfortable--they could lounge on the top deck and enjoy the sniffs. We made a couple meals in the kitchen. I would recommend taking stock prior to cooking, as you may be in need of something specific that is not there. An adequate quantity of linens/towels were provided. We made use of the laundry, and everything worked well. Outdoor shower was lovely. We would definitely book here again.

Our family of 6 + 2 dogs loved our stay. Some of our favorite things were the oceanfront vistas from many rooms, outdoor shower, dog friendly gated decks, and thoughtful amenities like robe/towel hooks in every room and well-stocked kitchen! One of the best beach houses we have ever been to!

This home has everything, my favs were the doggy gates, and the outdoor shower was the bomb. The kitchen was well stocked. The linens appeared to be brand new. The views from the balcony were amazing. We really enjoyed our stay at the Armstrong. We come to Surf City the last week of August every year. 10 Stars from us.

Beautiful view of ocean. Very dog friendly area. Extremely comfortable beds. Fantastic selection of books and puzzles. Nicely designed kitchen. Great decks and easy beach access.

This house was the perfect size for our family. The views were amazing. Both decks were furnished nicely. The house is located in the middle of the island so easy to get to either end. The kitchen was updated. We loved that 2 of the bedrooms had ocean views. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect beach location. Well equipped. Great new outdoor shower. What minor problems (wrong bed sheets; problem with refrigerator) were taken care of immediately.

We loved the house overall, an amazing spot on the beach, extremely kid & dog friendly. Bedrooms & bathrooms were small overall but having 3 kings & an amazing outdoor shower made it worth it! Would book here again. Views off the deck are amazing, beach was big enough to be busy but not crowded. Felt private at times, even in late July. Close to a lot of restaurants/ice cream shops too.

The location is wonderful - right on the beach and it's a pretty quiet part of the beach. Very comfortable place for my family with two young children. Loved the decks and the outdoor shower is very spacious and convenient. The master bathroom is very small and the shower in there is tiny, so we ended up using the outdoor shower for all of our showers. The kitchen could be a little bit better stocked with storage bowls and things like ziplocks and trash bags. Overall though we really loved the house and had a great trip there.

We loved our stay at Armstrong. The layout of the house is great. It has a nice open layout in the main living area. It's dog friendly with gates on the decks. The beds were very comfortable. We have no complaints and plan to return next year.

The home is positioned wonderfully to the beach with incredible views of the sunrise from the deck and the sunset out the west facing windows. The home is clean and appears to be well maintained.

The ocean view from the Armstrong was so beautiful and perfect ! We loved our mornings drinking coffee on deck and catching views of the dolphins . We brought our 2 dogs and they loved their early morning walks and evening walks. Beach was not crowded and very peaceful. Very close to shops and restaurants . Also go to Andrews Farmers market for very good produce , bread , pies and jams and jellies . Also the friendliest people you could ever meet . We love how extra clean the house was and so inviting . Had everything we needed. Would definitely love to go back . Perfect vacation with our Mom.

House was clean, beautiful views and all the kitchen needs. They could use an electric can opener and add some spices, sugar, etc. for every day need. They did not have beach chairs and umbrellas and NO barbecue.

This home was perfect for a week away. The porch is great for soaking in the sun dolphin and bird watching, and a front row seat to a beautiful sunrise each morning. The space was clean, we'll kept and cozy. We can't wait to come back!

It was very nice to walk down the stairs and right on the beach. Having a bathroom upstairs was great. The beds were very comfortable.

Great location and access to the beach. Food in Surf City is not awesome but we didn't care about that too much. Bathrooms are tiny!

Great house for a family with a dog. The views are amazing and the amenities are great. Probably the best outdoor shower we have ever seen.

This house accomadated 4 of us which I thought was perfect. The views are wonderful, the beds were comfy and we had everything we needed to cook. Everything was clean. We were pleasantly surprised. This home gets am A-1 rating.. no complaints at all. The only thing I would have liked even better is a later check out time..10:00 is so early..

This property is very well situated directly on the beach. The location is excellent, and the property has everything you really need. Armstrong was perfectly priced for our vacation. The outside deck was in great condition with all the amenities you need for the beach. We stayed in February, so the beach was quiet without a lot of foot traffic. We had a very relaxing getaway. We use Vacasa at least once per year. Most of the properties we stay at have been wonderful, with a few areas that can use a touch up. The good: Everything works. No problems with wifi, appliances, doors, locks, etc. The views are outstanding. The outside decks and stairs are in good condition and feel very safe. The beds were very comfortable with TV's in the rooms for those that need the TV to fall asleep. There are plenty of utensils and everything you need to cook and serve a meal. The views from the living area are great. Amazing window coverage of the beach to see the sun rise and the moon shine across the water at night. The not so good. The bathrooms and bedrooms are a bit small, but very functional. The master bathroom has a very tight shower, and the shower head could use an upgrade. Other than that this place is perfect. Thanks for hosting us.

Two adult couples and their dogs enjoyed our week at the Armstrong house. House was as pictured or better. It's hard to get a good idea of the 3rd floor which we found more spacious than the pictures. It's obviously being upgraded as there was a new backsplash in the kitchen and flooring. We look forward to coming back and see what else is upgraded.
