SC1908 Chambless at Ease

Was exactly as described! Perfect little getaway for me and my family for Thanksgiving! Loved the location and accessibility to the ocean. Not far from great places to eat.

Family and friends visited from California and didn't want to go anywhere but stay the house. There was plenty of space and the beach view was amazing. We loved everything about the beach and has now made us consider purchasing a beach house in the near future. Everything was organized and was very clean. Thank you Vacasa for being part of my family and friends great experience in the East Coast.

The house over all was better than what pictures show. Yes the furniture does need to be updated. We had a total of 9 people staying and everyone was comfortable. There was enough beds for all staying. The railing on porches were a little wobbly. The bunkbed on 3rd floor was wobbly also which for heavier kids could be concerning. We loved that we did not have to climb up and down sand dunes to get to the beach. My favorite spot is the porch swing. Great view of ocean from all adult bed rooms, both living rooms and kitchen. Kitchen does need new cookware such as pots and skillets and larger refrigerator. Overall Great stay and would stay again.

This house has a layout that works very well for our family and is stocked with all the little things you might have forgotten you needed. The owner has obviously put a lot of love and care to make you feel at home. You'll still deal with some bad wallpaper (it is a joke!) And the couch is getting a little old, but overall it is a good experience.

This was our first visit to Chambless at Ease. We had a wonderful time at this delightful house. The layout was perfect for our families. The location was wonderful. Unlike many beach houses, this house was well stocked with kitchen equipment and tools. We enjoyed the lower level living room even though it did not have air conditioning - it was perfect for puzzles and games on the ping pong table. Chambless at Ease had a real homey feeling that we truly enjoyed. I hope that we can return.

We loved everything about the place. The only drawback was that theres many nails on the wooden porch/walkways that were sticking up and I cut my foot on on one of them

This is a beautiful home that is right on the beach with 3 decks and an elevator. It was perfect for our family.

The house has a unique layout. When you walk in the ground floor level, you are greeted with a great game room area with plenty of seating for everyone. There is a full bathroom on this level, great for showering off in peace and taking care of the other business in peace as well. The elevator is great for people with mobility issues. It was the main reason we picked this house as my uncle is wheelchair bound. The elevator is spacious and you don’t feel like the walls are closing in on you. When you get the main floor, the washer and dryer are off to your right, hidden behind a couple doors. You walk into the living / kitchen area and you know it’s gonna be a great place for family to hang out and eat seafood and enjoy each other’s presence. The kitchen is fully stocked with an abundance of plates,cups and bowls, as well as every pot and pan you can think of. There’s a very large panty for storing any food you might get during the stay. The dinning room table is very large and seats at least 10 people comfortably. The living room is nice but at the beach it’s the room that doesn’t get used much. There is a large master bedroom on this floor with a very spacious bathroom with a stand up shower. The top floor is divided in half by a very nice living area with a couch and tv as well as a table to play cards. There are two bathrooms on this floor. One with a full tub and shower and one with a stand up shower. There are four bedrooms on this floor. One with a set up bunk beds, one with two twin beds and then the others are either a queen and a king or two queens. The decks are the best part. The third floor deck gives you a great look up and down the beach as well as a great view of the ocean. There are three lounge chairs and a few other chairs available on this deck. The lower deck is covered which makes for a good relaxing place to sit out of the sun. Plenty of space for everyone and stocked with chairs and a swing. There is an outdoor shower to rinse off that ocean sand and salt as well as a large deck with two lounge chairs to get more sun if you need it. Overall this is a great house just waiting for memories to be made. Would definitely stay here again.

We had an absolutely amazing stay and I can’t complain for a second. But I will list some pros and cons to help people with booking. The first thing I do is look at reviews and this one barely had any which always seems like a red flag but everything was absolutely great!!! Pros - beachfront - comfy beds / seating - SO much room for everyone with the 3 levels - very well stocked with any and everything - plenty of outdoor seating - shower outside even had warm water which the kids loved - toys, puzzles, card games, flashlights, so many random fun finds the kiddos enjoyed during our stay - full fridge in basement - Levels can be shut off from stairways so if you have littles like we did you don’t have to worry about stairs. I also spotted a couple baby gates laying around for use if needed. Cons - a little outdated (carpet, furniture) didn’t bother us one bit but just pointing out - deck had some nails sticking up and railing was a little wiggly in a couple places so you have to be careful. - dishwasher lining came loose one night and it was leaking on the floor - listing advertised beach chairs and umbrellas and the beach chairs were in awful shape and unusable and the umbrella was tiny and didn’t withstand the breeze - basement has a full bath which is air conditioned but the rest of the basement is warm Upstairs The queen room and 2 single beds are across from each other with full bathroom (with tub) set in between both. Bathroom entrance is outside of each room. The king room and bunk beds are next to each other with bathroom (stand up shower) set in between. Bathroom entrance from each room connecting the two. Middle level Contains the king suite. Large room and attached bathroom with double sink. Half bath also on the level. Basement Full bath (stand up shower) Truly little nitpicks that wouldn’t ever stop me from staying there again. My family (13 of us) had an amazing time and we are thankful the owner shares their little slice of heaven with others!

It's in a great location and a very clean house. If there wasn't a water pipe laying across the beach it would have been perfect.
