Make yourself at home at this lovely three-story home that overlooks the beautiful Topsail Sound Intracoastal waterway! When you are ready to swim, walk on the beach, work on your shell collection, or just lay in the sun, all you have to do is walk across the street to a private boardwalk over the dunes. If you want to try your skills at paddleboarding, behind the house is a perfect spot. Downtown Surf City is two and a half miles away with plenty of restaurants and shopping. Other great attractions nearby include Kenneth D. Batts Family Park, Surf City Ocean Pier, Soundside Park, Historical Society Of Topsail Island, Hampstead Kiwanis Park, and North Shore Golf Course. This 3,000-square-foot home enjoys three levels full of fantastic amenities and decks where you can enjoy your morning coffee, listen to the birds, and watch the boats traveling the waterway. The first floor boasts a private sauna and one primary suite with an en suite bathroom, a fireplace, and a TV. The second floor features the three remaining bedrooms - one of them being the second primary suite. This marvelous suite enjoys amazing waterfront views, a TV, a walk-in closet, and an en suite bath. The laundry room with a washer/dryer can be found on this level as well. And last, but definitely not least, the third level is where you will find the main living space with a spacious and bright open floor plan. Prepare culinary masterpieces in the well-appointed kitchen that you can later enjoy on the top deck as you watch the breathtaking sunsets. The living room offers a splendid spot to unwind and create everlasting memories - curl up in front of the TV and get ready for a tranquil and entertaining evening at home. Additional perks include boat access, two adult bikes, and two kayaks.

Great Waterfront Home!

My girlfriends and I loved the home. The location and view is amazing. The bedrooms are sizable and comfortable. The kitchen is well appointed for cooking. We loved kayaking with the kayaks provided. They also have paddle boards. We did not use the sauna. The dock/ outdoor space is fantastic and a great extension to the home. It's a short drive to the hub of Surf City, Ubers were available when we were there. Be sure to bring all spices, aluminum foil, 409... supplies like that. We would definitely stay here again.

Home Away From Home

Sunset is a very happy, comfortable home that is equipped with just about anything you need to make your beach vacation memorable…from bicycles to beach equipment…crab traps to kayaks…it has it all. Just a few minutes walk and you arrive at the ocean. The sound side, with its beautiful views, is on full display for you to enjoy. We have enjoyed Sunset twice this summer!

Great location, amazing views

House is conveniently located to both the sound and the public beach. Well appointed, clean and comfortable. The back decks overlooking the sound were a favorite! We loved that we could paddle right from the back dock. We appreciated beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, beach cart, kayaks and paddle boards. The sauna was great too! We would come back here!

A Sound Side Haven

Sunset is a lovely, happy home that offers the perfect location for ocean and sound access. It is peaceful and the views of the sound are gorgeous. Fish and crabbing from the homes dock is a rare treat. We’ve stayed 3 times in the past year and look forward to our next visit.

We have stayed here before. We came back because of the location, vibes and views from the sound, and the amenities of paddle boards, kayaks and beach things. Very roomy and clean. Updating on tv's is a must.

Excellent stay, highly recommend

The property and sound-side views are incredible. Amenities are also excellent. There is so much you can do that the property provides: kayaking, biking, etc. The dock in the back was great to fish and we even caught several crabs using their traps and some bait. House is only a 5 min walk to the beach. Beds and furniture are comfortable as well. Only complaint is that some of the amenities are outdated/dirty: Broken blinds, dirty coffee pot, clogged sinks, older TVs with misplaced remotes. Even still, I highly recommend and would come back again.

We had a great week at sunset

Great location , waterfront access, pets allowed. There are a lot of stairs so older guests need to be aware of that, as do those with young children.

We returned to this property for a fifth season and only wished we could stay all summer! Location, location, location!
