We stayed in this charming home for 11 nights. Lots of room, comfortable beds, the views of the beach was unbeatable. Because it's not on the main road I was able to ride my bike for miles every day and you can walk into town for all your amenities. If you have a large group, it might be a good idea to bring cups and plates. A great bonus is that they supplied bedding, sheet sets, towels, and amenities to start your vacation like toilet paper, paper towel towels, dishwasher, pods, hand soap. I highly recommend this home for a relaxing enjoyable vacation.

Our family (and dogs!) loved the location of this home. The beach views were lovely and you could hear the waves from the master bedroom. Decor was nice. Kitchen inventory could use some bolstering (older pans, need more silverware and glassware). Had a wonderful stay

This house had the best selection of books i have ever seen in a beach house. Kudos to the owners!!!! So hooked by one book i had to purchase it so i could finish it at home! The windows were amazing, such a view of sun rise and the sunset. Gorgeous!!!

The location of the beach house was fantastic and I also liked that it wasn't a duplex or triplex because it afforded some privacy. With newer beach homes, I always feel like everyone is right on top of each other. Very dog friendly. Would stay again.

The house was perfect for our family. We vacation each year with our 3 adult children so they each had their own room. The downstairs living room was exactly the right size to give the kids their own space. The kitchen was plenty big for all of us at the same time. Location of the house was great!

Vacasa made everything so seamless. First time using them and definitely would use them again. The house was a great home to stay in with the family. Loved the large kitchen and sun and shade deck.

The house was clean, plenty of room and has everything you'd need. It's within walking distance to shops, restaurants and the pier. We had a very nice meal at Daddy Mac's and the folks who run the pier are very welcoming people.

The furninshings were older but comfortable and cozy. The beds were comfy, too. The views from all 3 decks were fantastic and you can see both sunrise and sunset each day. Highly recommended for ocean lovers traveling with pets.

The views don’t get any better and the location is great! The layout is awesome and while the house is outdated it’s very cozy. There are a few house keeping issues that I addressed directly. But over all it was a great stay!

If you're looking for an affordable, dog-friendly oceanfront home with great outdoor space, this is it! We are a party of two with our beloved fur-baby and we did not want to stay in a tiny single room or condo with partial view. Trying not to break the bank, it was challenging to find an oceanfront home in central Surf City/Topsail, that offered a large deck and an open family room/Kitchen. I read all the reviews, realize the house was dated and that I may need to spot clean to my liking, but the price was right, so I booked the Turtle Point home and am happy I did! Pro's: LOCATION & PRICE. Centrally located and the beach is in great shape at this location. Tucked off the main busy road, it was quiet and safer for walking the dog. This home has great bones including a large composite upper deck off the main family room. The bed was comfortable and the water pressure was great in the shower. Grateful that there was an outdoor hose/shower head, direct access to beach from the lower deck, washer/dryer and we loved the rocking chairs. Fantastic direct ocean views from the large windows/slider in the family room and Western views from the smaller deck on the front side of the home. Now the CONS... I am particular as far as how I clean, what I bring for comfort and knowing that this is a dog-friendly home that hosts many guests non-stop. This home is in demand year-round, so it's got to be challenging to give Management and the cleaning service time to do a deep clean in between guests, but it really needs a deep clean and a few updates. I recommend bringing an extra step out bath towel or two if that is important to you. I always pack extra hangers, house shoes/slippers, favorite wine glasses/ TERVIS/YETI, back up sheets/dish towels/extra soap/laundry supplies/Clorex wipes as I tend to clean more than the avg. guest, but that's me and I expect it & do it knowing it makes me feel better. ***PAY ATTENTION to the check-in rules regarding the "Anderson door" - how it unlocks and how you need to lift up the handle etc. Also note that you can easily get locked out unless you undo the auto-lock feature after the front door has been locked. Test the door handle before shutting the front door as you can easily lock yourself out. For the value, this house is great. Just know it's not going to be the Taj Mahal, but it was just what we needed for the price and we were happy we made Turtle Point our home away from home. Cheers and happy vacation home shopping!

Definitely an older home with less amenities than newer or renovated options. However, I loved the layout of this house and the good use of space. Tons of storage in the kitchen and bathrooms. Huge dining table and comfy living room furniture. New modern decking on the stairs and porches. Lots of stairs! No TVs in the bedrooms. Loved listening to the waves from every room in the house.

We loved how close we were to the beach and also able to walk to many restaurants and stores. It was perfect, kitchen had everything we needed and also provided complimentary soap- dish soap- TP- trash bags, everything we needed.

Yes it is a bit dated, but location, view, access to beach, home layout is awesome. You save a few dollars on loving its charm!

My sister, mom, nephew, niece and our pups all went on vacation and LOVED the house and location! The home is a bit outdated but other than that it is spacious, great layout and amazing views. We even saw dolphins from our balcony! We walked the beach every day with our pups who had a blast! If you love the beach then this is the house for you! You can't beat the views from the living room, balcony and master bedroom. I would definitely stay here again and already missing the ocean!
