Condo was exactly as described and seen in pictures. The view is beautiful and my favorite part was sitting at night listening to the surf and watching waves roll in under the moonlight. Condo was very clean, and recliner couches were super comfy. The building itself has a little age on it and elevator is slow, but hey it works! There were several carts to help load and haul your belongs to and from car. The trip from condo to beach and back couldn’t be simpler, really made it easy to spend the day playing in the sand. The condo has a little expandable wagon for the beach, but since it was just me and my teen daughter we traveled light and didn’t need it. Would be great for families though. Beds were comfy too. I had groceries delivered and was able to make meals a couple nights; kitchen has basic pans/pots, utensils with electric oven that worked great. I would rebook again in an instant!

I'd gladly recommend anyone that wants a vacation filled with memories, to try this condo.

This condo was the perfect home away from home. Everything you need for a beach vacation. Carpets were super soft and well kept. The view from the balcony was gorgeous especially at sunrise. We have stayed at Topsail Dunes a couple of times and this condo was our favorite. Lots of space, beds was comfortable, pillows weren’t flat. They had every thing we would need down to beach wagon. I was skeptical about the carpet because we’ve never rented a condo at the beach with carpet but it was far better with carpet. We would definitely stay here again. South Topsail has my heart but we like staying in a place with a pool so we just drove to the south end a couple of days. The elevator and the carts were very helpful and an added bonus since the last time that we stayed the building that we were, and did not have that. See you next year.

The condo was as listed. The downside was that with having to wash all towels before leaving the dryer takes 2-3 cycles to dry; even in small loads. The other downside is that the pool closes at 8, and when reserving the time listed was later than that. Those are just not picky things. Besides that it was an amazing place and we would definitely go back!

Hi Justin, Thanks for renting my oceanfront condo. I am going to switch to vacasa next Summer because they provide linens and towels which will make it much easier for my guests. Regarding the pool, I don't put the pool hours in the listing for my condo because I have no control over the pool hours. The homeowners association sets the hours for the pool. So I am not sure where you saw pool hours advertised in the listing for my condo. Thanks again for vacationing at my condo!

Wonderful week at North Topsail Dunes. Lois made the rental process very easy and answered any questions we had within a day. The only problem (not property owners fault) was the elevator wasn't working Thursday through this morning when we left. Took a lot longer to take stuff down from the 4th floor than we anticipated. The condo was very clean and well supplied. Look forward to going back next year!!!

We have visited Topsail Island for close to 20 years, but this is the first time we’ve stayed at North Topsail. This 2BR condo was plenty roomy for our group with easy access to the beach and off island conveniences such as dining, grocery, etc. The condo’s amenities were plentiful including a fully stocked kitchen. We were very pleased with our accommodations it was clean comfortable and very well stocked with everything we could need. The beach was terrific and great for walking . Unfortunately the pool was closed while we here (with no explanation). The lack of restaurants close by was very frustrating but overall we were more than happy with our "adventure"

This is a very nice, well-furnished and equipped condo with a great ocean view PLUS a view of the sound (and gorgeous sunsets) from the kitchen window on the other sIde. It was so helpful to have all linens, paper products, and kitchen essentials supplied. Saved me from having to pack and lug all of that. Loved having extras like beach towels, folding chairs, umbrella, etc! Lois is a very helpful and responsive host and answers emails quickly. If you have physical issues with walking, be aware that even though there is an elevator and a luggage cart available, it is still a considerable walk up a long ramp (or flight of stairs) to reach the elevator, then another long walk from the elevator to the unit. If you're using the you luggage cart, it must be returned back to the ground level, which means another round trip. But if walking a distance isn't a problem, this wouldn't be an issue at all. I will return after I have knee sugery next year!

We had a great stay. The views were wonderful. We even survived a hurricane! We were comfortable and safe! The downside was that the elevator was broken for 5 of our 7 day stay. We also did not find the deck chairs comfortable. Kitchen well stocked with good pots and pans, dishes, etc. Owner super responsive!

Views and sounds of breaking surf, warm weather and easy access to the beach all added Have never had a rental so completely equipped...only chore was consolidating some kitchen cabinets so my food items could be stored. Our stay was a pleasant one. My wife and I took our aging mothers to the beach, neither had been in a long time. The main criteria was an ocean view, and have an elevator so that our moms would not have to walk up and down stairs, which it had both. Everything we needed for our stay was provided, linens, toiletries, towels, beach necessities. I do not think the pictures online show how spacious the unit is. It is one of the bigger units my wife and I have stayed at. The accommodations were great. Although there is quite a bit of construction going on to repair (from last years storm?) / update units throughout all three buildings, it didn't take away from our stay. From Saturday to Thursday, the beaches were pretty much to ourselves. Friday was the most crowded, but even then, you could find sections up or down the beach to get away. Looking forward to going back next year!!! Thanks, Miss Lois, for providing a great place at the beach, to get away from the crowds.

It was our first time staying on Topsail Island. With so many choices of places to stay, I am so glad we chose this one. It is absolutely beautiful and so clean inside. The view from the balcony was spectacular. And it's true what another reviewer said, all you need to bring are clothes and food. With Food Lion being only minutes away, the food was very convenient to get. Everything you need is there including beach chairs and an umbrella. We are definitely considering returning next year and possibly being an annual trip for us. It truly was a home away from home for us. Thank you Lois sharing it with us!

The elevator is close to the unit and only steps from the world’s most perfect beach. The sunset view from the sound side of the condo is spectacular and the ocean view from the balcony is gorgeous. This was the perfect “temporary home” for us! It felt welcoming and homey from the moment we entered until we left. Nothing was lacking in this condo - I have food allergies so I bake alternative foods and she had all the gadgets I needed. 😊 A closet full of beach paraphernalia was found in the bedroom and there were even fluffy bathroom rugs! Plentiful towels and linens were such a blessing and definitely a huge bonus in a beach rental. Most rentals DO NOT include any linens and they are so pricey to rent! Lois also responded to our questions immediately and was so gracious to work with. And though we were there during much hurricane restoration all around us in this complex, it didn’t bother us. The workmen were all so courteous and kept the area clean. It was actually neat to see so much sprucing up being done in addition to storm repair. There is definitely pride of ownership in this quaint seaside location. We plan to utilize this unit for future rental needs and highly recommend it!

Our family of 4 stayed here in August. We loved this oceanfront condo, very very clean and lovely decorated. We were impressed -the owners provided everything possible and impossible - umbrellas, beach chairs, towels, sand toys, games, books, not saying about all possible kitchen supplies, even paper towels and trash bags. The pool is close by and open until 10pm. There were not many people on the beach, some people were fishing, the water was warm and clean, though the waves were rather high to swim far away from the beach. The nearest big food store (Food Lion) was within 10-12 min drive, we loved Italian coffee place next to it, good coffee and very tasty ice cream. In general we loved this place and will return back.

We loved our stay here. The beach is so quiet and there are lots of great shells to see and collect on your walk. The condo was well equipped with everything we needed and was very clean. The view was great and the property owner was very attentive and easy to work with. We were on the beach during the day and my son and husband would fish in the evening and we did some crabbing which was lots of fun. We will definitely be back!! One last thing- having a washer and dryer in the unit was a big plus for me!

We stayed in this 4th floor condo during the whole month of April. It was fully stocked with TP, Kleenex, paper towels, lots of beach towels and regular towels, blankets, sheets, pillowcases and pillows, and all the kitchen items you need for a long or short stay. The beachy decor and colors made it very relaxing and homey. It has a nice deck/balcony with seating for 4 which looks out at the ocean. The beach is expansive during low tide and is great if you are a shell seeker. Our favorite restaurants were ‘Em R Wings and Sneaky Freaky Bake Shop in Snead’s Ferry and Sears Landing in Surf City. You will find Lois Hutchins is very nice and helpful.

Thank you so much for letting us stay at your condo. Everything was exactly as described! It was a great place to spend our Anniversary week. The owner has thought of everything and provided it all. The condo was immaculate and all we had to do is unpack and go. Mu husband fished and I walked miles in the beach which is right outside the condo with super easy access via elevator. The ocean view was awesome. My husband even spotted a whale late one afternoon. I thought he was seeing things, but after a little research I realized that he had indeed seen one. I did see dolphins though.:) We hope to be able to come back and spend another week in this great spot.

We just spent a week at this beautiful property. It was our first experience booking a stay through VRBO, and if all properties are as well kept as this one, I will happily go through them again. The ocean views and beach access were just what we were looking for. Amenities and property were exactly as described, and the fully stocked kitchen made cooking meals easy for my family so there was no need to eat out every time. The location is lovely, and we enjoyed the less touristy feel of North Topsail Island. Grocery store was just a quick drive away, and the easy beach access was our favorite part. If you visit be sure to spend some time searching the beach for shells and shark teeth!

The condo had everything we needed. Soap, paper towels, beach chairs, etc. Clean and just the right size for our needs. It was a great location to our family who own a condo in the next complex. Loved the view!!

We truly enjoyed our first visit to North Topsail. The calm, non-commercial atmosphere was exactly what we wanted. This condo was perfect for our family of four. Although you could have 4 adults and have kids sleep on the floor if you wanted to squeeze in. Lois was wonderful in returning answers to our questions and being in call if needed. Condo was clean and ready to go stocked when we arrived. Pool is very nice. We will be back! One item to know is that this condo is in the building with an elevator. That's a huge plus when it is on the top floor! Thanks Lois! The Burns Family

Beautiful view from the balcony and kitchen window. Comfortable and accommodating furniture inside and out. The condos are set up for reasonable privacy. The condo had reasonable kitchen equipment to meet the needs of our family, (we've stayed in places with bare minimum that created the need to improvise, not here). Easy to access, owner easy to work with. Clean, comfortable sleeping accommodations. Condo is as pictured in listing. Keeping this listing on my favorites and hope to stay here again! Helped make for a great mini vacation.

The property sat right on the waterfront with the balcony view a SUPERB view of the ocean. Everything was very clean and orderly, very comfortable, lovely subdued beach color and decoration. Lois outfitted the condo with everything we could want and more!! Advise folks who haven't been on North Topsail beach to carry your groceries in....... the beauty of this area is NOT spoiled by commercial markets on every corner!!

Fantastic time at your lovely condo on Topsail Island! The condo décor was in tasteful beach colors and furnishings. We had a lovely view of the ocean and enjoyed sitting on the deck listening to the ocean. We were there for our Marine's graduation, but filled in the down time at the beach and pool. The pool was very nice size and had a deep end. We cooked several meals while there. The kitchen had nice dishes, pans, and utensils. It was short on soap, trash bags and seasonings, so bring with you. The linens were nice and they supplied beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, and toys. This is our, all time, favorite beach experience! The beach has great waves, shells, and sharks teeth! Even dolphins off shore! You won't be disappointed with a stay here! Thanks for sharing your condo with us!

This is great place to stay. My wife, three kids, and I had a great vacation I we will definitely try to stay here for our next visit. The condo was very clean and comfortable. The view is top notch; we enjoyed waking up and watching the shrimp boats and dolphins in the water. Many of the things we needed or wanted, but did not bring were supplied; we especially appreciated the stocked kitchen, tons of towels, and closet full of beach toys and boogie boards. This was our first time at Topsail. I toured other areas of the island and believe that this beach area is the nicest. If you're going to need a place to stay at Topsail don't pass this condo up.

The condo was perfect for us. Clean, comfortable and felt like home. The view was so calming and we totally got to relax, even though we had 4 Grandkids with us. The kids love it as well and kept asking when we would come back. All and all a fantastic trip with all the comforts of home. Thanks so much.

We loved it, we have stayed in condos there before and other places but we loved their place the best. It was clean, and had everything we needed. We just had to bring ourselves. We will stay there again. Zieglers From Rke, VA

When we arrived the condo was very clean and had everything we needed. I couldn't believe all the amenities that were included with this rental. The kitchen has all the appliances and cookware you'll need. There are plenty of bed linens, towels, beach towels, beach chairs, hair dryer, etc. Wireless access for internet service. Its right on the beach and has a clear view of the ocean. You can sit on the balcony and watch the shrimp boats in the morning. Just 10-15 minutes away from restaurants and shopping. You can't be the price of the rental. We definitely will be back.

We had a great time staying here with our son who is serving in the military. It felt so comfortable and we had everything we needed to enjoy the beach. There is a little TLC needed for the property but it didn't deter from our vacation one bit and we slept well as if we were home. Loved the high chairs on the deck so we could enjoy the view. We cooked a meal or two in the well equipped kitchen. We also saw dolphins just off the shore one day! Thanks Lois for sharing your piece of heaven!

We are having new carpeting installed throughout the condo and on the balcony in the Fall of 2013. This will really freshen up the condo!!
