Tucked away in the highly desirable Hampton Colony neighborhood, this spacious yet cozy newly-renovated duplex on North Topsail Beach has a community pool, offers views of the ocean, and boasts private beach access. This keyless smart home has five bedrooms, three bathrooms, open-concept living areas, and a rec room with its own kitchen! Bright, beachy, and beautiful decor will welcome you to this spacious yet cozy home with upper and lower-level decks with furniture for you to lounge while you watch the waves and sip tea or wine. Order pizza delivery from one of the local pizzerias, or use your Instacart app and have your groceries delivered so you can spend the night watching movies or binge-watching your favorite series. Cook in the open kitchen while you watch the waves from the windows and have your dinner in the kitchen, on the shaded patio area under the house, or in the fresh, beachy air on the deck, then walk over to the beach to welcome nightfall. A brief stroll on the wooden beach access will take you directly to the ocean where you may park your beach chair and dig your toes into the clean white sand. Maybe you will want to watch the sun rise while you sip your morning drink, search for sharks' teeth and shells, or stay in your chair all day and read your favorite magazine or novel. Rent a surfboard from one of the local rental shops and cross surfing the waves off your bucket list. You also may decide to use your binoculars to view the dolphins that frequent Topsail Island's waters, or watch the magnificent pelicans casually dive down to catch their dinner. After a day at the beach, rinse off in the outdoor shower, and get ready to go out on the town. Although you won't want to leave the home or beach, a short drive will take you to local boutiques, big-named stores you are familiar with, and restaurants, some that boast local seafood, fish, and produce. You will also find exciting nightlife, sometimes with live music and karaoke, a local public boat ramp, a golf course, and less than five miles away you will find the Seaview fishing pier where you can catch your own dinner and take it home to cook it up in one of the two kitchens. The layout of the house was perfect for our family we all had room together and the space to separate also. The location to the beach was great. Overall we would stay here again.

The place was perfect we absolutely loved it!! 1st time here at topsail and we had an amazing time. We usually stay ocean front so I didn’t know how we would feel about it since it was ocean view but the place was amazing!! The porches worked perfect you could see and hear that water. While we were there we saw dolphins, went swimming, fished, and relaxed. The weather was rainy from time to time ,but the storms didn’t last long at all and had plenty of good weather. We will definitely be back!!!

The house was a good value for beach access. Compared with other rentals this house had nothing for the beach and kitchen furnishings were bare minimum. The door code for access didn’t work but the Vacasa team finally got us in. There were maintenance issues, but overall we made out OK and had a great time.

There was plenty of room for 10 family members but also spaces that one could individually get away from the group on each level and outdoors. Beautiful house and great beach access!

I didn't want to leave this review because I would love to keep this place a secret--but out of gratitude for creating such a wonderful vacation home here goes... The photos represent the property well--but don't quite do it justice--it's a gorgeous updated property. The layout is perfect for multi-family or one large family (we are a family of 9 adults and one toddler). Whoever thought to put the additional kitchen & living area on the top floor--that was genius! It gave everyone options for where to relax while in the home--a perfect play area for our little one-- and the kitchen provided much needed extra refrigerator space. The beds were all super comfortable--the quality of the finishes and furniture were spot on--decor gave a nod to beach-house but wasn't cutesy overkill (extra points for the tasteful decor!). It was pristine clean and fresh upon arrival. One concern we had at booking was being on a second row back from the beach--but immediately that concern was done away with. The direct view of the ocean from that side of the duplex was just perfect. Many hours were spent on the glider seat on the deck taking in the view, the breezes & the sunshine. The upstairs deck gives the best views of the ocean and the beach and was the perfect spot if you need some time in the sun. The proximity to the beach utilizing the direct walkway made it feel direct waterfront--so close to the ocean! No need to drag everything down to the beach for the whole day--the property is just steps away to run back for a quick meal or an afternoon nap. We loved the little town of Sneads Ferry for grabbing groceries, ice cream shop runs and girl-time getting pedicures. We had our best family vacation ever staying in this property--we definitely hope to return for future stays!

We enjoyed every minute of our stay at Sea Horse by the Sea. The layout of the house was perfect for our family and the private walkway to the beach provided easy access. We had a leak in the faucet in the kitchen sink but our friends at Vacasa got it repaired within two hours. Great service. Bottom line: this is a great house and we had a great time.
