Teach's Lookout is new to the rental market providing the perfect home for your Topsail Island vacation. The custom renovated beach house includes luxury plank hard surface floors throughout and new features that are very well appointed for the perfect vacation getaway. Everything about the home is comfortable, clean, and neat. With beach access across the street, you can enjoy ocean breezes, the sound of waves, and long-range ocean views which are prevalent throughout the home, and also enjoyed from the outdoor living spaces. The cozy living room features views of the ocean, plenty of comfortable seating for gathering, and includes a wall-mounted smart TV, a DVD player, and a stereo with a CD player and hookup for Pandora music to play from your smartphone. A supply of board games, playing cards, chess, checkers, and books are also available. With high-speed internet and WiFi, you can upload all your vacation pics to social media to share with family and friends, or bring along your Amazon Firestick or Roku. The lovely bright kitchen boasts ocean views and abundant sunlight. The kitchen is fully equipped to include professional cookware, a food processor, a blender, a coffee maker, and all the necessary accessories including the wine opener. The kitchen offers stainless steel appliances, hard surface counters, and plenty of cabinet space for storage. The eat-in dining area includes a farm-style table with seating for six. The first of the two bedrooms features shabby-chic furnishings in the tranquil colors of the sea and a ceiling fan. A door leads out to the deck where you can see the ocean and enjoy the hot tub. The second bedroom offers a wall-mounted smart TV with a DVD player. The two bedrooms share a full bath. An amazing feature of Teach's Lookout is the tiered deck area with unobstructed long-range views of the ocean and miles of beach. Both the sunrise and sunset can be seen from this deck area making the space unlike most others. On the main level of the deck is a massive elevated picnic table perfect for all your alfresco meals, and a gathering space for the entire group. There is a partially covered deck area where the hot tub and bar are located. This covered deck area offers additional lighting, and views of the ocean. The overall deck is perfect for hanging out together, enjoying meals, or perhaps an evening beverage. The crow's nest sun deck puts you high above it all with unobstructed views of the Atlantic Ocean, beaches, and a vantage point for miles. Teach's Lookout includes an outside enclosed shower with a changing area. For the fishing enthusiast, you may appreciate the outside covered fish cleaning sink with built-in cutting boards. Additionally, the home includes a laundry area on the lower level with a washer/dryer. The ground level includes a covered concrete patio area with a second picnic table and outdoor gas grill. Both the outside shower, fish sink area, and lower level patio have added lighting for convenience in the evening. Adjacent to the house is a quiet street with public beach access. The street is ideal for bicycling and evening walks along a quaint beach road with street lights. Enjoy the ice cream truck that rolls by in the afternoons during the summer months offering an element of nostalgia. This is the perfect beach cottage for a vacation with family and friends or an individual getaway. We stayed at Teach's place the same time last year, and thats why we returned. The location was prime for seeing both the sunrise as well as the sunset. All of the deck area and hot tub made it even better. Other than a couple snaffoos, it was a perfect vacation, and we plan on coming back again!

A treasure of a property. Beach access so convenient. The decks and outlook are superb. Small and quaint, and a great beach feeling all around if you are a beach pirate.

Giving it 4 stars because we kept getting whiffs of dog urine (we did not have our dog with us) While this is a pet friendly unit, the rugs should be shampooed often to avoid this. Other than that, the location was great with an amazing view! It’s minutes away from restaurants and things to do. The neighborhood is quiet and relaxing in the hot tub with a view of the ocean is unmatched. The urine odor is my only complaint.

Beautiful views of the ocean from right across the street which is really much closer than it appeared in the pictures on the website. The wrap around decks surrounding the house and the upper 3rd story deck were all amazing. And there were gates that closed allowing our dog the ability to wander freely in those spaces. The hot tub was so relaxing! We would definitely return to this home again.

This beautiful little home is perfect for getting away to do a lot of nothing but basking in the slowness of Topsail Island. First of all, North Topsail Beach is quiet and friendly. We were steps from the beach. You can walk or bike on the quiet road that roads behind the home. We spent so much time on the porch and levels of decks. The views are spectacular. We have been to other Carolina beaches. This one is much less crowded. We spent the week as a family enjoying each other's company but could easily move to an area (porch, deck, bedroom) to be alone for a bit. The kitchen has what you will need for simple meals. It is an older property but has new windows and flouring. There is a new water heater. The AC was great.

We loved the house and the location. The deck area and outdoor living space was amazing. We had such a great time and will always love the location and the memories made there. The only reason I took away a star was because the beds were not that comfortable and the master bedroom also stayed way warmer than the other rooms. The bunk room would be ice cold while the master was warm. We tried variations of keeping the bedroom doors open or closed and couldn’t quite get the temperature right to stay cool at night in the master. The house is so cute though and the decor was great as well. We had plenty of paper towels, toilet paper, etc provided. We wouldn’t change a thing except to have been a little more comfortable while sleeping.

This is our second time at Teachs Lookout and it lived up to expectations. So close to the beach and a superb deck to sit and watch the waves. There are just the two of us and our dog and Teachs is the perfect size for us offering everything we needed for a relaxing vacation.

This house was beyond perfect! Cozy, amazing views, creature comforts like a full functioning kitchen and on site laundry (perfect when so close to the beach!). We loved our early morning sunrise coffee on the deck watching the dolphins. The kids couldn't get enough beach time, regardless of the time of day. We even enjoyed attempting a family 1000pc puzzle during our stay. We would come back anytime!

We’ve been to this property twice, and it’s perfect for a small family vacation. With the hot tub, it’s also ideal for an off-season beach trip. The decks make it feel like a beach-front property.

We had a great experience with Vacasa and Teachs lookout. Having the ability to text with Vacasa and getting prompt responses was great. The house was perfect for the three of us plus our golden retriever. The deck was amazing and the hot tub was perfect after a day on the beach. I would highly recommend!

We had 3 kids under 8 and an Infant and this home was perfect for our family size ❤️ we absolutely loved the views and watching the sunset ans rise from our top deck!
