Description

Come enjoy the good life at this beachfront duplex! It features a well-equipped kitchen for the cooking enthusiast, as well as four large decks - three of which are covered - where you can unwind into vacation mode. HDTV is available in all the bedrooms and the great room, with several TVs featuring DVD players as well. There is a small DVD library and a good number of beach books for your reading pleasure. The home has cable TV and WiFi access - just bring your laptop or tablet. Covered parking is available for three cars. All bedroom mattresses are encased in bed bug covers. For your convenience, there is a private walkway to the beach, where you can relax in the sand or spend time looking for shells and beach glass. After your day on the beach, rinse off in the large outdoor shower with a spacious dressing room. Enjoy all the amenities of home along with breathtaking sunrises, starry nights, and beautiful views of the Atlantic. Come experience the good life!

My family has a history with this property. We've rented in Sept., October, and July and Augusts over a 20 year period. We love that it is dog- friendly and so close to the beach. My sons and I use the outdoor, enclosed shower each time we shower. Love that the current property management shows up to assist us putting out the trash cans AND brings them back to the house.

The house was lovely and well/equipped. The ocean view was spectacular! We especially appreciated the light-blocking curtains and the gorgeous deck and deck furniture. The kitchen was well-stocked. The dishwasher didn’t seem to work as well as we would have liked, but that was a small concern. We had a fantastic family vacation and we would definitely book this home again.

We have been coming back to this same beach house yearly for awhile now and always enjoy our stay. The furniture is comfortable and this area of the beach is quiet. We have never had any major problems. The updates over the years have been nice.

The house was as expected. Floors were dirty when we arrived, but everything else was clean. We were not offered the possibility of early check-in, which was disappointing. In 30 years of coming to Topsail, we were always offered early check-in options. But the place was good, overall. Only complaint besides the dirty floors and no early check-in is that the lower oceanfront deck was not fully covered. So when it rained, we couldn't sit on either oceanfront deck and it rained a lot while we were there.

At first glance, everything looks incredible!! The recliners in the living room were so comfy that I wish I had one at home. Although it does lean back a lot and nearly every adult in our group had a good laugh over the fear of it tilting back too far. It was still my favorite spot. Good size kitchen table and while it may look small, there was plenty of room for 8 adults and 3 toddlers. I feel like the dishwasher needs an upgrade. Why it takes 3 hours on a normal setting and then still doesn't get everything clean at times.. I don't know? I read multiple reviews stating how well stocked the kitchen was. It does have a lot of kitchen utensils but it needs a complete set of plastic containers for leftovers. There were barely any and finding a lid to match was challenging. There are plenty of pots and pans but again, did not have matching lids for most of them. It does have a blender, Keurig, crockpot, griddle, toaster, etc so the small appliances are there for you to use. The refrigerator was very nice and had plenty of counter space especially behind the sink. Has a pantry for snacks and cutting boards too. There were plenty of knives but they all could use some sharpening because it was hard to cut up stuff with them. The beds were very comfortable and I got really good sleep each night. A recommendation to put a ceiling fan in the downstairs bedroom with the bunk bed in it as the person that stayed in that room was hot each night. Plenty of books, games, dvds. Bathrooms were well stocked with toilet paper which was super nice. The outdoor water hose to wash off your feet was fantastic placement. All in all, I would absolutely stay here again. It has fantastic views of the ocean and sitting out on the deck and the comfortable chairs was a real treat every day.

This was our 2nd time staying here and it's great rental property. Only request I would make is more variety of glassware. Other than that, great job!

We loved how the beach was steps from the porch. It made going back and forth with the kids, dog, parents so easy. The house was well cleaned and had a well stocked kitchen. Loved the games for the kids, beach toys, and dog specific blankets. Vacasa wasn't super responsive when we had an issue. Felt like we were just being handed off first corporate then to local office, then people left for the day so the person you were talking to wasn't in the next day and I had to start the communication all over again. Short drive to Surf City, two kids parks close by and we enjoyed the Touch a Tank Aquarium. Nice that Food Lion delivers for groceries. Pizza Hut also delivered to the house. Recommend Topsail Steamer for a dinner to grab and bring home.

Great location and quiet beach! We loved how easy the access to the beach. The enclosed outdoor shower with hot and cold water was a BIG plus! Plenty of toys for big and small ones. We would definately come back to 'The Good Life!'.

Everything was perfect. We've always had great experiences with vacasa, and this was no exception. One thing is like to share an extra shout out was the kitchen -this was the BEST stocked kitchen we've ever seen in a vacation rental. It had everything we needed, so I didn't have to stress shop to find items. There was plenty of room for everyone to relax. The deck was a wonder place to enjoy some morning coffee and the ocean. Great experience!!

Very pet friendly for our senior labradoodle, great location, fantastic layout with the 2 master bedrooms. We have been coming to Topsail for 40 years, would book this house again. Loved the updates made, we stayed at this house back in 2017

This house was perfectly located....step off the deck and you're on the beach not far from the surf. The deck chairs and rockers gave us a constant view of the ocean...no need to drag chairs, umbrellas etc down to the beach...setting on the deck and you're right there. Would recommend this rental to anyone.

This was a cute house, comfy beds, well stocked kitchen, beautiful ocean views and nice deck furniture. There is a steep set of stairs to get into the house, and another set of stairs to reach the kitchen. I would say this isn’t a good choice if you don’t like stairs.

This was really the perfect house for our family! We had a couple of issues when we first arrived, but Vacasa took care them immediately. Need an extra bedroom for next year, hope it will be an easy find!!

This house was absolutely perfect. From the adequately stocked kitchen to the top deck, where we spent most of our time. We have been coming to the beach for over 15 years and this was the first house that we could ever say with the cleanest, we didn’t have to re-clean, or do anything except unpack our stuff and hit the beach. There was also a ton of beach chairs, and toys for the sand. Thank you!

We loved the seating options in the living room - plenty of space for 7+ people to gather together in the evenings. The kitchen was very well stocked with dishes, pots and pans. Outdoor shower was very nice!

Topsail is my favorite place to vacation. This house was great to stay at. I have stayed there before, back in 2019. Since then there have been some updates which were nice (new countertops, furniture updates, probably fresh paint and new carpet on the stairs). We enjoyed ourselves and will stay there again.
