Sun and fun are only minutes from this vacation home in North Topsail Beach. This darling home is perfectly positioned for beautiful Atlantic and waterway views. Take your pick from refreshing and warm sunrises or relaxing sunsets. High-speed WiFi is offered for anyone that needs to check on tee times at one of many local golf courses or find fun happenings on Topsail Island. Around the back, on the ground level, you'll find an enclosed hot and cold shower for rinsing off. On the first level, you'll find two ocean-view bedrooms, two sound-view bedrooms, and a laundry room. Through the front door, you will enter the first family room. This space offers a sofa bed, comfy chairs, and a smart TV. A nearby door leads you outside to the lower ocean-view deck. The beautiful ocean views and breezes will take you away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. An additional sleeping area is on the family room's right side. Upstairs you'll find spacious living areas facing the beautiful waters of the Atlantic Ocean and waterway. Through the large picturesque windows, the views are simply captivating. The living room offers two seating areas and a large TV. Wake up early and enjoy that first cup of coffee at a bistro table by the picture windows. The kitchen lies between the living room and dining room and offers both ocean and waterway views. The kitchen has all-white major appliances, including a refrigerator with an ice maker, flattop stove, dishwasher, and microwave. Four stools sit at the bar, an excellent place for afternoon snacks. The dining room has incredible views of the Intra Coastal Waterway. Grill fresh seafood and enjoy dining at the wooden table. Across from the dining area is a digital nomad's dream office. If indeed you did bring your computer, WiFi is available. One bedroom offers access to the sound-view deck. Enjoy watching the active wildlife and boats travel up and down the waterway. The main bedroom sits on the ocean-view side and has a private bathroom. Wake up early, slip outside to the ocean-view deck, and indulge yourself with the breathtaking sunrises of Topsail Island. Things to Know The private pool is typically open from April through October.

Thought the name was weird, but when we were there watching the ocean off of one deck, then the sound off of the other deck, it totally made sense. Great place!

Very much enjoyed the ocean and bay views during sunsets. The beach was right there, and the best part was it felt very secluded and not a lot of people. The pool was great for after beach trips with washing in the outdoor shower with hot water. The house had tons of beach toys and floats for us to use. It was a rainy week but the house had plenty of board games for the times we couldn’t grab beach sunrays. Great stay!

The location is excellent, scenic and glorious, front and back. The trek to the beach involves crossing a two lane road with traffic that is usually light, so an easy trip. The house is as described and pictured. Everything was clean and in working order.

The weather forecast predicted rain every day. We scrapped our golf plans and even left our golf clubs at home. Each member of our group of 15 brought his favorite game and jigsaw puzzle to occupy the sunless days. I even came with only one container of sunscreen lotion. What happened at this seven day stay at the beach? It didn't rain a drop. What a pleasant surprise! The cottage's cooking facilities were very adequate, so we cooked in enjoying French toast, shrimp and grits, beef tenderloin, fried okra, spaghetti pizza, corn on the cob and a new Italian dish. Our stay at Sea n Sound Sandwich was everything you could hope for in a beach family vacation. Our family made memories in this home that we will forever cherish. The house was very clean upon arrival, and felt very homey with the homeowner’s attention to details. The elevator was great for some of our guests with mobility issues and for lugging in our luggage/groceries. The home was able to comfortably accommodate all 17 of us. The views from the front and back decks were breathtaking and simply can’t be beat. The location to the beach access was perfect- directly across the street and an easy walk for kids and grandparents. The beach was family friendly and not crowded. The pool was refreshing after a long day at the beach. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed to cook each night. One upgrade I would recommend is a larger refrigerator, however, we made it work, especially after we discovered the refrigerator on the ground floor. We enjoyed having the pier so close for our fishing family members- only a mile down the road. We also enjoyed the town park which was a short drive also - it had well maintained tennis courts (we used as pickle ball courts), playground, basketball and sand volleyball courts. Food Lion and local restaurants are all within 10 minutes from the house. Truly an amazing location and fun for the whole family! Vacasa was a breeze to book through. They were quick to respond to questions and very professional. Overall, we were incredibly pleased with this house and will definitely plan to book our next beach vacation at Sea N Sound Sandwich! Proximity to the beach was great! Working elevator was an appreciated necessity. Comfortable beds with all bedding provided. Dog friendly-thanks for helping them to live their best lives! Tons of room to stretch out and relax or play chess or cards or read a book. Amazing views of the beach and the sound! Great decks, outside living space, and pool. We will definitely be booking this house again!

Stayed in late May but do to a family emergency we all had to leave early so decided to come back late Sept / early Oct. Overall love the place, very comfortable although one bed was extremely firm so no one used that room. Plenty of room, well stocked kitchen. Great view of ocean and intercoastal waterway. Easy access to beach. There was an issue with the pool heat, that is being addressed by mgmt w a refund. There is an issue w mold/ mildew smell in the elevator shaft and base of interior stairwell. If you have bad allergies be aware. Was assured by property manager that it was being addressed. Over all very nice, already looking at weeks for next year. Kudos to the owners for caring so much.

The house gave our family of 14 plenty of space, beds were comfortable, kitchen well stocked. The location of the house gave us the best of both worlds; ocean off the front porch, sound off the back! This also gave us front row seats to beautiful sunrises and sunsets! We would stay here again

Beach access is close and easy. Comfortable beds, this home easily accommodates a large group. Our inquiries were addressed quickly, although some answers were incorrect (we were told no iron or ironing board so we brought our own, but there was one there) Elevator wasn’t working which would have been a huge help with heavy coolers and bags. There is also no elevator access from ground level. Early check in was not permitted even though cleaning service was finished well over 1 1/2 hours earlier. Instructions on check out procedures weren’t clear. Text said leave sheets on beds, email said strip beds.

Wonderful floorplan and while not ON the beach, it sits just across Nee River Inlet Rd from the ocean and there are 5-7 open lots on the beach side. Not sure how long that will last, but until it goes away you have unobstructed views of the ocean (and sunrises!). The pool is perfect! Plenty of room for both family and cars!!! And an ELEVATOR!!!!!!

Each summer our extended family vacation together in July at North Topsail. Sea and Sound by far was our favorite home on North Topsail. The views from both sides of the house are spectacular! We loved all the living space which is ideal for a large family with kids and teens. The pool was awesome after a full day at the beach. We did have some trouble with the 1st floor AC but both Vacasa and the homeowner worked to help remedy the situation. We are really looking forward to coming back in 2025!!

Some families come to the beach just for the ocean. They buy a large umbrella and chairs and spend hours reading and swimming. We choose the other option, enjoying the total cottage vacation experience. This year we set up a 1,000 piece jigsaw puzzle for everyone to enjoy. It was the first year that our son-in-law had a boat for riding enjoyment and fishing. The boat had a 5 person capacity. My son and I usually play a couple rounds of golf, but this year we missed out on the morning rounds and the weather was too hot for afternoon golf. We had 15 in our family this year including a very active 2 year old. The pattern is to cook in every other night offering shrimp, fresh corn on the cob, fried okra, tomatoes, peaches, cantalope, watermelon, homemade bread and pie with icecream. Some time at the beach was spent swimming and looking for shells and sharks teeth. We were thankful that the elevator was in good working order. The beautiful swimming pool was always an option, but we also played games and watched two movies. Sea and Sound Sandwich has been our choice for many years and we recommend it highly. Overall, we loved the house and the location! The views were spectacular, and it was wonderful being across the street from a nice beach access. We loved that the deep covered deck in front allows you to sit in the shade with ocean views during the afternoon. The decks in the back were good for the morning (and sunsets) and provided a nice, shaded area near the pool in the afternoon. Great deck seating on both sides, and the breezes were sublime! The kitchen is small, but they've maximized the space very thoughtfully, and it flows well. We all raved about how well stocked it was. The pool was great, along with the outdoor shower and the grill. The fenced in area was perfect to let the dogs out for a bit. Loved all the little sitting areas and nooks. You can tell the owners put a lot of thought into the details. It was noticed and appreciated! A couple of beds were uncomfortably firm, and the elevator was functional but temperamental. Bookers should know that there is NO waterway/sound access. It's right there, and this row of houses obviously had access in the past, but no more. You do have a great view of huge schools of fish and kayaking areas that you can't access.

Our family had a wonderful time here, with a little bit of something for everyone! The views of the ocean and sound were incredible. Kids loved the pool and access to the beach. Grandma loved the many relaxing sitting areas throughout the home. Dogs loved the fenced in yard. We all especially appreciated the elevator! Everything was clean and comfortable. We had everything we could need in this home away from home and hope to come back next year!

We are locals and rented this house to accommodate for my family. Sea N Sound Sandwich is the name of the house and is nothing less than the perfect name. Location has amazing views. Has a pool and less than a minute walk over to the beach access. More than enough room for the amount of people we had stay at the house and what’s better than that? Being able to bring our pups along! Great space to hold a large group, has an extra fridge at the lower level, and thank goodness for that, because my family brought tons of food with them! Will recommend this place to family and friends. Will hopefully get a chance to rent and stay here again! Thanks for having us!

This home had everything we needed; beach proximity, pool, sleeping space, family space. The kitchen was the best stocked kitchen of any rental home we have stayed in. I cook the dinners, and let me tell you….cooking for 16 takes some creativity in a poorly stocked kitchen. No worries here. Our only issue was the elevator was broken. It made the trip versus difficult for the two seniors in our party. We are still waiting on the refund for that. We will definitely stay here again if the elevator issue is fixed.

Wonderful house for the crew we had. The pluses were the 7 bedrooms, heated pool and pool toys, reliable internet, large dining room table, coffee tables for putting puzzles together and the best was the location!!! The front porch allowed us the best view in the morning and the back deck allowed us breathtaking sunsets.
