This vacation rental offers its guests direct beach access across the street and water views from every room in the house. Enjoy a soothing evening soak in your private hot tub after fun-filled days on the shore! The first floor offers four bedrooms - three with direct first-floor deck access, two with TVs, and one with a private bath area with a garden tub. The deck boasts ocean views with outside staircases that go directly to the second floor. Upstairs, you're greeted by an open living area, dining area, and kitchen. The floor plan provides dark hardwood floors as well as ocean and sound views from every angle! Above the rock fireplace there is a TV, surround sound system, DVD player, and CD player. From every seat at the dining table, you'll have views of the sound. Directly next to the dining area are French doors that access the second-floor deck. Walk around the front of the house and relax while looking over the Atlantic. The kitchen island has a wash sink and ample counter space for food preparation and eating space. You'll love the stainless steel appliances and sink views of the sound and ocean. The upstairs bedroom has a private bath, TV, and second-floor deck access. The upper-level loft offers more room to unwind with views of the Atlantic and sound. Located between North Topsail Beach and Surf City, you will find plenty of shopping, restaurants, and activities to suit almost everyone in the family.

Love the location! The views alone are fabulous. View the marsh from the back to f the house and ocean views from the front.

Great location close to the beach. Ocean views were awesome. If you have anyone staying in the top floor “crows nest” just know it’s open to all floors of the rest of the house and has no door. It’s also extremely bright up there no blinds or curtains. The hot tub is a nice bonus. Bring extra pillows and blankets if you have a full house. We would stay there again.

We recently stayed at this beach house and can confidently say the best part of it is the location—it’s just a very short and easy walk to the beach, which made our days incredibly convenient and enjoyable. The porch decks were also a highlight, offering lovely views of the ocean and a great place to relax. That said, the house could use some general maintenance and attention. When we arrived, the floors didn’t feel clean, the kitchen table was sticky, and we were surprised to find a bug under one of the bed pillows. The furniture is quite worn—especially the couch, which is so saggy that shorter guests had to crane their necks to see the TV comfortably. The beds could use a refresh as well. The kitchen has the basics, but a set of sharper knives would go a long way. We also noticed that the landscaping around the house needs some upkeep—especially the weeds growing around the back stairs. Overall, we loved being so close to the beach and appreciated the great views, but with a little extra care and updating, this home could be a truly fantastic rental.

What a wonderful home and perfectly located within steps to the beach. Our stay was filled with lots of laughter, sun, sand, and memories made. We loved the big kitchen table that we were able to play games on and all sit to eat at. The decks showcased amazing views of the entire island. We would love to stay here again! Hopefully next year ❤️

Swallows nest was the perfect home for our Easter weekend! The hot tub was a hit with our kids and adults. The large table on the deck offered a great place to feed the wet and sandy kids. The carport was killer and awesome to have for grilling, our seafood boil and cornhole! A few of the beds could use some updating and the kitchen could use a knife sharpener and some serving utensils. But otherwise that kitchen is STOCKED! Blenders, airfryer, and plenty of plates and regular dishes. We loved the views from both sides of the home. The sunsets on the sound side of the house are GORGEOUS.

Equidistant from stores at either end of the island. Also easy to find. The decks are fabulous as well as the little cupulo at the top. Awesome views of ocean, marshes and sunsets. Close walk to the gorgeous beach. Every item you need for the home away from home. My son and nephew especially loved the hot tub.

We loved that this unit was pet-friendly but didn't look "run-down" like other pet rentals we've previously stayed at. We loved the ocean and inlet views and our favorite was eating breakfast on the third floor overlooking the ocean! Really easy walk to beach and easy drive to restaurants and shops.

I loved that it was very close to the beach and dog friendly. My family had plenty of room and space. Everyone loved being able to move out onto the deck from the house with ease; appreciating that gates were on both ends of the deck which made it safe for the dogs and young children!

The dual views of the sound and ocean are delightful. We enjoyed the deck and hot tub. Kitchen is equipped and we appreciated the cleanliness of kitchen and bathrooms. Parking spaces are generous. However the LR furniture needs a refresh and the living room isn’t large enough for the # of bedrooms in the house, considering it is the only inside gathering space. May be less of an issue in the summer but something to consider if you have a big group.

Can’t beat the location of this beach house. Ocean views were amazing and it’s close to restaurants, grocery stores, and shops. Plenty of space and the kitchen was well equipped with what we needed for our stay. Make sure to bring your own beach supplies as no chairs, umbrella, or beach toys are provided. We would stay here again!

Our extended family enjoyed the proximity to the beach, well-furnished kitchen and great TVs and wifi. Hot tub was also great even in the heat!

Plenty of room, great access to beach and cottage was comfortable. The only thing that needs looked into is the washing machine…when you run it it sounds like it is going to fall through the floor in spin cycle…I think the drum is off center…great place though.

Everyone loved the hot tub and lots of deck to hang out. We had 3 teenagers in our group so sleeping was a challenge for them. The sun was too bright in loft to allow them to sleep in😂😂😂 It would be great for younger kids that like to get up early.

This place was awesome! Close to beach, but no neighbors too close! Hot tub was great on a cool autumn night! House is very spacious and well set up! I can’t say anything negative! We really enjoyed our stay!!! Would definitely back❤️
