We were 12 people in this house. This is a beautiful house, all the rooms and bathrooms are nice, with nice furnishings. Big TVs in every bedroom if that’s important to you. For these multi-floor units, the set up in this 4 story unit was pretty good with the flow from bedrooms on the 2nd and 4th floors and kitchen/living room on the 3rd floor. There were some thoughtful items that we don’t always see in rentals like a first aid kid. They took the note about no welcome book and there is now a binder with some helpful details. The bed arrangement matched the pictures, not what the listing says (i.e. there are two king rooms, one queen room, one room with two twins, and one room with a twin over full bunk and a trundle). Same issue other reviews noted that are still true: there are no large pots/pans/trays. There are no large baking dishes or serving dishes, which is important given this was accommodating a group of 12! The hot water issue remains the same. It is more an issue of inconsistency than just taking a long time to heat up. We were in the 2nd floor master bedroom and there were multiple times the water never got warm even leaving it running for more than ten minutes. Most people had hot water on the third floor shower but it would become cold part way through (think 4-5 min in, not long showers). The water seemed to be warmer when we were using two showers at the same time. It felt like playing musical showers, and I still took cold showers 5/7 times even with leaving the water running to heat up. So it’s not just the 4th floor. The owners should really figure out what this property needs to get reliable hot water whether it’s a tank water heater or a second water heater, I don’t know. Even waiting ten minutes is just so wasteful. There was never hot water to even wash the dishes. All in all, we REALLY like this house, want to come back for every beach trip, but the hot water is a deal breaker for us. It’s a big and wasteful inconvenience.

The house was beautiful and immaculate. But for a 5 bedroom house, some things were not adequate. There were only 4 wineglasses and the table only seats 6. The pots and pans were apartment-sized and bowls weren’t big enough for a large salad. No serving plates and nothing kid proof. There were no games for the kids besides cornhole, although there were boogie boards and life vest for two kids. There was no welcome info or instructions for the house. We went THREE DAYS without hot water for showers or dishes because we didn’t know the water had to run for almost TEN MINUTES before it would begin to get warm. Guest services was very responsive and the handyman arrived promptly but he didn’t show us how to get the water warm ourselves. Also, the room situation was not correct. There were three bedrooms with king beds, one room with two twins, and supposedly another bedroom with a queen bed. Unfortunately the queen was the bottom bunk of a bunk bed which was uncomfortable for an adult, and that bedroom shared a bathroom with the master suite—awkward. Despite all this we had a great time and would definitely use Vacasa again. The location was great.
